Just fired up the laptop to check, I use 08.22.09.005 loader with 22.10 on the STM32F429

I will be trying out this new 08.023.05 loader with the 23.3.1 version tomorrow on my STM32F429 when I have access to both a 2016 A6 TDI and a 2016 Q7 TDI.
If it doesn't work out I'll downgrade to 22.10 and keep the 08.023.05 loader and try.

If you've got the option of using 22.10, i'd stick with that rather than potentially bricking your cable when downgrading.

I can confirm 22.10 works on a 2021 Audi A6 TDI, as i tried it on my mates, so it'll definitely work on the two 2016's you want to connect with.

Thank you! My cable arrived with the 08.023.02 loader and the 23.3.0 and I guess it's safe to use it. So basically, from what I've understood around here is that the latest loader is bricking interfaces, right? The thread is closed now, there seems to have been a hot discussion there. Well, I hope another version of the loader comes soon.

23.05 is apparently bricking devices, which might explain why 23.05 was released a day later
