Need urgent Confirmation for experienced Tunners

I have two cars which are mk4 - same year - same KW and same Engine, 1.9 PD TDI engines.

so i have read flashes from both of them, SW ID is the same.
can i use to write the flash which is remapped to second car which have SAME SW ID?



or can you explain with ur words in which cases it's allowed

it should have same SW and same HW , or if the car is same engine Architecture can move the file?


for example if a car is mk4 - 96 kw TDI PD - 2003 same gearbox - BUT if they dont have same SW and HW is it allowed to write or it will destroy ECU?
