    Do you mean “ key not detected “ must be on the dashboard or the “ key not detected “ should be off .

    Thanks

    There’s should be a signal coming out of the dashboard signifying a key not found symbol or sign. I can’t vividly remember the sign, it’s been a long time I worked last on such model of Camry. When you are with the vehicle let me know

    [QUOTE=autodiagservices;4023688]Yes only the door light should be ON on the dashboard, key light is blinking and make sure when you press the push start button, confirm that the ‘KEY NOT DETECTED MESSAGE’ is still showing otherwise it means you have messed up the system.

    I have similar situation with a corolla 2009, initially there was key not detected message on the dash before I carried out smart key ecu reset and the engine push button show red light. After I carried out the reset the immo light start to blink and then I tried adding a key to the car without success, though the key may not the correct one for the car. I did all smart key lost programming for the car 2 years ago with HYQ14AAB smart key and now I tried using HYQ14ACX.All this while the push button switch was lighting but when I decided to try launch x431 and from that point I lost the push button light.
    I do have techstream but haven't tried it because of the seed key issue.

    Thanks for the advice, I joined DK to learn from masters and experts on the forum. Anyway, I am just from the car with the ID code box and the smart key ecu also waiting for the used key I ordered (HYQ14AAB, 271451-0140 hope this is the right one). I will post the data for further help, thanks everyone.

    Hyq14AAB (3370) first generation was in 2005 if you read it comes out (page1=71)40bit. in 2007 generation 2 was issue as a supersede to AAB =AEM (0140) that reads out as (page1=74) 80bit.

    Please, can you educate me more on this page1 issue, it is confusing to me. When ever I searched for this Toyota smart keys on ebay and others the details given about the smart never contains info on page1. They only always provide the fcc, IC and oem part NO (oem part NO is never identified on used keys).
    Is the page1 number signifying the msater key NO and position?
    Can another key with a different page1 NO be used if they have same fcc (example: HYQ14AAB-0140 PG1 D4 instead of HYQ14AAB-0140 PG1 94).

    I’m going to show you the way it lays out in the dump by page.
    page1=manufacturer code here you would see master or valet value
    page2=password

    A little more confusing, you said manufacturer code=pg1 while the attached picture shows manufacturing code=1A

    On cn900 chip iD is on the top header 4D toyota / Lexus 67,69,71,74 on the first page:30,32,50,52 (master or valet)
    On Subaru page2 is the password 17

    Some little info that may be helpful in the future. I was able to program a D4 to the car as second key using techstream and all functions work. So probably they are interchangable. The first key programmed was a 94.
