    Default Blue&Me Repair Thread

Hi to all, at the moment i'm trying to repair the Blue&Me modules in Fiat/Alfa/Lancia. These modules die easily after change/discharge of the battery. I wanted to share what i know about their fix and hope someone know more than me can share his info. The problem is the Firmware that gets corrupted, we can found the firmware in a NAND Flash (BGA63) that is over the Micro (STA2062, a protected Micro which i've not been able to find any info about R/W it). There are a 4 types of NAND flash that we can find in these modules, 2 types are Micron (NW140 and NQ278) and 2 types are Samsung, i read and write them with TL866II (for now, without success for the repair). At our workshop now we send the bricked B&Me to someone that can fix them and after his repair i open them and i found every time the same 'repair signs' (a glue/paste around the NAND and some solder joints on the board on some test point that seems a J-tag connection). During the repair he can also change the compatibility of the module changing his Firmware (Lancia Delta can became Fiat 500/Grande Punto ecc..). I've got only one hint from him and nothing else, he does something with Martech programmer. There are the informations i've got at the moment, i hope someone knows more than me and we can share our infos!

Nothing mate, when i have time i try to do some tests but i don't have so much time. Anyway recently i've tried reballing an original Nand Flash from Blue&Me, it's not so easy, i don't have adapter so i have reballed every single ball one to one with the help of a tweezers.

In the next days i will reprogram it if i find a good dump (this is the real problem!) and then solder it again.

Nothing, i don't have a good dump for trying. Anyway i don't know if it's worth, now i pay €70 for repair a faulty unit, but it's also strange that i pay only €70 for a reballing + reprogramming of Nand Flash..

yes can fix without soldering but price is 2500 euro, and you can find here https://blueflasher.it/home?hl=en.. 70 euro for repair is cheap, in UK people charge minimum 150 pounds for repair

    in the UK
    they are right,
    get yourself
    to pay
    handsomely
    and that others
    repairers
    they do not give
    value
    laurel
    professionalism
