    Default Audi A6 C5 and Injection pump swapping. ECU PIN code lost

    Hello!

    Audi A6 C5/2,5l V6 TDI/MY02

    The injection pump control unit is broken and had to be replaced from an intact used car. We tried to change the pump, but we could not find the required PIN in the instructions. Can anyone help?

    Determining VIN & IMMO-ID
    
     Engine Control Unit (ECU)
    
     [Select]
    [01 - Engine]
    Look at the first "Extra" field. The first 17-digit string is the VIN. The second 14-digit string in the Immo-ID.
    [Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
    
    ---OR--- 
    [Select]
    [01 - Engine]
    [Meas. Blocks - 08]
    Select Block 081.
    [Go!]

     Injection Pump Swapping
    
     Prerequisites:
    
     
    
    • The NEW Injection Pump is installed in the car.
    • Battery voltage at least 12.5 V.
    • Make sure to have the Immobilizer PIN, for the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
    [Select] [01 - Engine] [Login - 11]
    • 4-digit PIN
      • The PIN needs to be entered as 5-digit number. For example, if your PIN is 1234, enter 01234.
    [Do it!] [Adaptation - 10] Enter 050 in "Channel Number". [Read]
    • 4-digit PIN
      • The PIN needs to be entered as 5-digit number. For example, if your PIN is 1234, enter 01234.
    [Save] [Done, Go Back] [Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
    • Switch OFF the ignition and let the car sit for ~1 minute, then switch ON the ignition again.
    • Start the Engine to verify the adaptation was successful
    Motor ECU files are read AVDI (Abrites)

    Hi, for PIN need to read eeprom 24c04.

    Sorry, it not possible. I don’t have a soldering iron or an eeprom reader.

    Can't get the pin code from a file I read? :O

    Okay. I got advice from a car tuner. He was able to decode the eeprom, without decompressing the engine ecu, but unfortunately these codes were not working.

    These codes were obtained:

    eeprom 24C04:
    PinCode: 4060
    Try both pincodes, if the pincode is to short add zero at the begin

    eeprom 95040:
    PinCode: 3737
    Try both pincodes, if the pincode is to short add zero at the begin,

    I don’t know what program he used to make these visible.

    Hi, this tool is only for pump coding. Best tool for VAG cars is VCDS, all info about procedure pump swapping is in Ross-tech wiki site.
    Not all pumps is interchangable. What letters are at the end of old and new pump numbers ( A, B, C,.....?)
