Hi! So I'm hoping this doesn't turn into lots of flaming.
Righto, so I mostly do auto electrical work on vauxhalls and ford's, airbag module resets, fault finding, that sort of thing. I have access to a car prog clone, and several op com versions, as well as forscan, multiecuscan scan for the Fiat ka's 🤣, obviously got scopes scanners and meters, hanteks, flukes and autel, also have vvdi mini and use a keydiy for programming remotes. An a manual key cutting machine.

So been doing flip key's for older cars, Spares for vauxhalls and ford's, all keys lost for older Vauxhall and ford's. Happy to extract a pin from an astra using the car prog and also happy to remove crash data from airbag modules to give you an idea of where I am at.

Now I've got a friend asking about a BMW spare key, so been doing my reading up and tbh it's not helped much.
So it's a 2013 bmw 320d with no actual ignition Barrell, remote key only, push button start.

So figure it's an id46 so I can clone that with my vvdi mini, can cut the key blank, but have no idea how to go about programming the remote to the car? I'm happy to walk away from this one and send him else where but thought I'd see if it was possible and thought you'd be the guys to ask.

So just to say upfront, I've no interest in buying £10000's of new kit, no I'm not getting a vvdi2 or an autel im608, yes it's a bmw with a cas and it's a complex system, so please don't flame me all to hell for asking for info, any help welcome! Many thanks in advance
