    Default how to make a Null Modem Cable

    Hello,

    I recently purchased a serial cable (DB9-DB9 female-female), thought it would be a Null Modem Cable but it does not seem to connect my DM500 to my pc via Dreamup. So, i guess I need to modify the cable.

    Is there any tutorial w/ pics (if possble)? anyone any advice?

    many thanks

    Cheaper to buy one of fleabay than make one but if you are good with cables than you could try this;

    Thanks for reply...indeed, it would be better to buy a correct one. I bought a female DB9-female DB9 but it doesn't work...as I don't have soldering equipement, I should be a good one: any webshop to recommend?

    many thanks
