But there was a guy on ebay who sells them.

Pity scanmatik buying options are only in russia.

I'm not going to power the ecu from usb . The cable for bench modules 53 and 71 has a plug for the power supply . I am asking for a power box or CombiBox because I saw how the guy had a scanner connected to the power box and from the power box to the ecu. He was doing the ecu from the Hyundai tucson gasoline I don't remember what ecu. On other videos, they do edc17 without a power box. That's why I asked a question.

Not sure if my reply might be considered as necroposting I can probably sort you out with original SM2Pro shipped from Russia. Not sure about possible customs charges but guys I work with sent me lots of equipment to SE Asia and I never paid custom duties.

How would they connect SM2Pro to an ECU without any powerbox variation? Yes there's an external power plug on SM2Pro cable but you still need to run wires to ECU and manage power switching.

SM2 works perfect in module 53, 71 and 77 also with Bench Cable (the genuine one made on purpose for these SM2 modules), it has power plug, automatic control and GPT signals, you really don't need other equipment.
Plus on Youtube or web you can find thousands of videos or pics that shows Pcmflash working only with SM2 and Bench Cable..

i confirm, scanmatik 2 Pro and the bench cable for sm works fine, no need any further equipment..... and of course have and plug for power....

if you google for pcmflash, you should find a company the second synthetic is tuning.com?..... they send from USA and from Ireland, so no problem with taxes... (i never had take anything from them....)
