    Usually Mitsubish use fixed code
try to program it with something old wike SBB or T300 - they must know the code

try pin code 3828 on models up to 2006 if not known by your programmer . as has been said T300 or sbb will do this , avdi will struggle as avdi only covers canbus from 2005 models.

what ever you do once you turn ignition on with your new key , do not switch ignition off again until the key in ignition is programmed otherwise you will lock ecu , if ecu locks you must leave ignition on for 25 minutes to unlock ecu , then code key .

so if you have already turned ignition on and off with uncoded key then ecu will be locked , when ready to code key turn ignition on then leave it on for 25 minutes then code key before turning ignition off .

Just to add to Rapid, when switching ignition on with unprogrammed key clear fault codes.

this is not correct , mvp pro and smart pro program these old L200 1999 to 2006

    models 2000 to 2002 , id60
    models 2002 to 2006 , id61

but this is a rough guide as seen id61 on 2001 models more than id60 here , but this is uk models i refer to.
