hi guys, i am a garage mechanic in saint etienne in france, i mainly do mechanics, sell vehicle purchase, diagnostic, some electronic repair, towing ... i would like to add car key, i have a budget of 8 / 10k, I think to make 80% of the psa, renault, vag.

    for copies:
    handy baby (100euros)

    vag:
    original supervag (900 euros)

    renault ecu tool (650 euros)

    psa:
    smok full psa (900 euros)

    for the next 20%:
    altar or lonsdor.

    lishi:
vag, renault, psa (around 400 euros)

all the rest that I will have will be for the key and card ...

here I would like your advice on what I intend to buy, positive and negative, opinions, all answers and welcome.

Every one of us had a lot of bad purchases that cost ££££ and you want someone to tell you how to spend 10k instead 30k and then sell keys for £20

Yes it's possible to start with 10K for some brands but do your research in the forum and buy the tools and when you have exact problem come here and we will help you

I always remind my students that there is no lack of tools. Yes, and I remember this myself, when you need to constantly update something. The first thing I say to my students. Are you ready to constantly invest in equipment? Because many people think that they bought it once and all. But this is not the case. Before you ask a question, I would recommend reading the forum. And not just this one.

indeed, I am aware that electronics evolve and that the tools change without cessation, thereafter there is no problem to invest again if necessary, it will be my first investment (to test the ground), according to the profitability within 6 months, I plan to invest a lot more. the forum I watch it very often, I have correct bases in electronics and better in mechanics. I already use xprog and upa usb without worries I use old meter, ecu, bsi to get my hands on the eprom solder.
your answers do not seem appropriate to me, I simply ask for an opinion on the chosen material.

do you know how to decipher the lishi code? its done directly on the cutting machine?

vvdi 2 full 13 options I saw them at 13XX euros is it so full that its? or do you still have to pay a subscription?

    no subscription on VVDI2 tool

With OBDstar and Autel you will cover all your job like beginner in this job, more than enough to start and see what u missing in short time.
I start only with KD X2

for Automatic machine.. yes you decode with lishi and directly input manual biting and cut . but you need to much practice about this job with lishi. it is not soo easy but not so hard when you understand what are you doing. practice practice and practice.
Personaly i buy locks on scrapyard, put on bench and try to unlock, decode ...

U need more than money for this job. u need to read & search.

all answer u have i never ask anyone , all info are online if you start to search deeper...
This forum is full of info , all kind of problems and solution, just search and read.
