vmware need only some cpu's family....but work on win 7/8/10 64 bit, it depend from vmware version included in the package, if vmware are 64bit based they work with win 7/8/10 64 bit Originally Posted by AKH84

Download VMware Workstation Pro or Player. me works fine on "VMware Workstation Player 15.5.6 Build 16341506"
Way 1 always run as administrator
1. Open VMware as administrator
2. Select Open a WM
3. Select the location of the file "Winols of Windows 7 x86.vmx"
4. Run WM "1"
next time only point 4
Or grant permissions for the user:
right mouse button -> preferences -> security -> edit -> select the username and check the boxes at the bottom -> click apply -> OK
