Is my kess broken? What happened to it?

Hi.
I could not load the map, I am pissed off because in 2 days I had to go on a trip with this car to repair the other vehicle I have.
My Kess 5.017 eu always worked perfect in any situation, I take care not to bump or have an internet connection.
Well when I go to load the map I get this error.
"PROTOCOL NO FOUND".
I have read and written my vehicle several times, including bmw, VAG, FIAT, OPEL.
My ecu is an edc16c39
I have tried on other vehicles in which I have worked without problem and it produces the same error, PROTOCOL NO FOUND.
Why, what happens, what happened?


The only thing that touched is to format the PC because it was full of garbage, but the same compilation of windows, driver provided in the purchase CD.
I do not understand anything.
