    Default Meriva 1.6 8v ecu help

    Hi I've got a meriva with an ecu fault. I've managed to get a second hand ecu but how do I retreve the car pass code from the second hand ecu as the last owner didn't have it Thanks

    Quote/Copied/edited from another post on here ... & assume mk1 Meriva Z16SE/Z16XE HSFI 2.5

    "-Get pincode from ecu with carprog or fvdi, or clock set (with opcom) if you have matching clocks for new ecu
    -Then reset ecu with same tools (or proper scanning tool)
    -then under immobiliser use program function and adapt used ecu to immobiliser.
    -only thing left is set vin and options of car(aircon, cruise control, automatic or manual, ect.)"

    Reset bcm/ipc to finish
