mercedes dash not powering up fault

hi, i have a customers mercedes clk c209 in just now which has a dash fault and nothing on the clocks powers up

its not a power supply issue in the car as it wont power up out the car either

after some reading it appears to be common issue on various models but im not 100% sure of the fix, as the entire clock isnt powering up im guessing the fault is on the top circuit board which ive pictured, can anyone possibly point me in the right direction of what possible is to faullt/needs replaced

u can have a look at the can transceiver ic , because this dash cannot show anything even if the power is good need the can wakeup signal .
