zero as in 0ohms means a dead short!or do you mean open circuit?
Right I am no auto electrical genius so excuse me for being a lil thick but I am having huge issues with a Citroen C4 multiple faults. Now searched and searched, taken loom apart, put it all back together and even changed the ABS module. Still lots of fault lights showing up abs, esp hand break you know the score.
Well I have gone to test the ABS sensors and set my Multi Meter up at 2k Ohms and all of the sensors are reading 0 nothing at all. The range should be about 900 to 2000. But I get nothing from all four.
Any ideas how I can check the multi meter is working ok or if all sensors need changing.
Urgent help needed as I work in children's residential care and relying on lifts at the mo.
Thank you in advance

WHOA HANG ON. Welcome to dk the world best website
1) as of 2002 ISH there Hall effect
2) you need a scan tool, read and clear all faults - if engine got issue
It tells the esp to go swivel, that in turn tells the handbrake to go swivel
3) you need an assistant- volt meter on the wire coming from car - ignition on
A) should be solid 12volt. Or
B) be 12 volt there for few seconds
4) VAGUE MODE
if you Have led test light you should get a circuit through sensor as long as test probe
got potential divider inside
VAGUE MODE OFF.
5) used module will need ‘coding’ auto, manual, tyre size, number of wheels
Inside leg measurement round or square wheels etc
6) VAGUE MODE
DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THIS
abs module should have three posiive and 2 negative with key out
Tgen extra positive with key on
VAGUE MODE OFF.

Thanks Meat head,
Not sure if this would cause them.
Originally went to start car, Christmas tree, every error beep and lights came on. Now followed all of LM Motors video on YouTube, checked all fuses, opened loom up for broken wires, nothing, tracked back ABS Module, pulled plug and lots of water poured out. All pins corroded and took ages to clean plug, changed module because some pins came off as I removed the plug. Could all of the water shorted all the ABS sensors?
Cheers Brendan
Possibly shorted but unlikely
lm auto on youtube is a active DK member
you need to scann it chances are egr valve doing the lot

Yeah I thought so, well I brought a cheap ABS sensor off Amazon and checked the ohms and it read perfectly at 1600 so checked each ABS sensor on the car again and read 0 on each one. 🤔 Will check ERG later to see if that's playing up.
Yeah followed all steps LM Motors did on his videos but to no avail.
Roughly what is your location?

Abs sensors might be 20 mega ohms an above and might have different readings when probes gets swopped around ..

Derbyshire. I've ordered new ones, will plug them in and see if it responds. No joy I'll return them. 👍😉
Tried multimeter leads rotation on both pins (just to be sure) and still no reading.
Sod knows what's wrong with it, changed as sensors and still it is lighting up like a Xmas tree
