Default Mercedes Benz W212 Active Bonnet error after crash

Hi guys, worked on a 2012 or 13 W212 .The customer hit one dog with front bumper ,the seatbelt pretensioners had activated and the car had an error "Active Bonnet" error .

I ve changed the seatbelts pretensioners ,reseted the SRS and the airbag light is gone ,but i still have that ACTIVE BONNET error.

Tried manually reseting it ,as the procedure from Mercedes BUT no luck. All sensors are ok ,the measured values are ok.

Is there any reinitialisation from Xentry that i need to carry out?

I had this happen to me after steering lock replacement on a c class. So the it would show a code in the front sam module for hood sensor 2 open circuit when the car never had 2 hood sensors. went to front sam module and changed configurations and removed hood sensor 2. may not be exactly same problem as yours but hope it helps.

    Hi
Just wondering if its not the protection for the passerby that was triggered. I don't know if that car triggers the bonnet to protect passers by on collision. check to see if there two igniters attached to the car bonnet.

Actually back then the customer bought a new front bumper without those 2 sensors ,and after i removed the bumper to measure them the plugs were on air ,installed them ,reseted codes and everything came back to life.
