What do you mean by variant, power class?
Even if you fully clone the EEP you still need to adjust power class in IROM.
Hello,
original EDC17CP44 (IMMO5) ECU has water damage, so I clone ECU (same partnumber) with Tango... copy VIN, CS, Mac and Login from original EEPROM to exchange EEPROM. I didnt copy Flash, so Flash is original of exchange one.
Problem is that car not start because ECU is blocked.
Also customer say that variant config is not correct...
Now I want made IMMO off to start car but how can I solve Problem with not matching variant config? Car is not here, I only have ECU here.
Is it possible to copy complete original EEPROM file to exchange ECU and make IMMO off? (I think variant is in EEPROM? )

Customer told me that with exchange ECU is configuration for DSG but he has Multitronic in the car... that is what I mean with variant config.
Sorry, but what is power class? IROM is the internal flash, right?
Is it solved when I write original Flash (IROM) file into exchange ECU?

In theory Power Class dont mathers if Immo is disabled, any way Power Class is in OTP area so it cannot be edited perhaps anyone knows with more detail any solution

Can I write original EEPROM (with Immo off) and original Flash file into exchange ECU, so that the customer have an plug and play ECU without coding in car?
If you write original EEP then ECU will not be able to decode data in it - no difference if it is immo off or not. The data will be decoded to some shit.

Can someone check my files or can fix it to clone?
Tango and VVDI2 dont show power class...
Is it possible to clone ECU without coding in car? Or what to do in car?
