Default Possible solution to your cleaning robot going backwards

    Hi
My vacuum cleaner was going backwards instead of forward. It would just stop after a few seconds. It's an ilife vacuum cleaner.

    Don't throw it away yet.

Open it and clean all the sensors. The sensors of mine was clogged with dirt.

    Work fine after cleaning

    Yep Conga it is.

Now mine got flooded and I forgot to switch it off. A few days later I tried to switch it on and it would not.

Don't despair if you in that situation. Dismantle it.

I cleaned the PCB with alcohol. And examined it with a magnifying glass. A leg for the power supply to the board was corroded and eaten. I used some jumper wire to replace the broken leg and problem fixed

my wife did the same.. i stripped her down, give a good wipe down but she still doesnt work.??.

i put her in a cupboard and thought about just paying someone else but you cannot guarentee how reliable they will be? so i bought the latest model which sucks really good..

maybe now i know about sensors i can get the old one out of the cupboard and i can use both ??
