Hi all,

It appears that there is an endemic problem with this particular forum..

People are breezing in here...throwing a file in...want it done while they're having a coffee,providing very little to no information about it,and just generally having no common manners about it...

Then,on occasion,throwing a hissy fit 20 mins later when no-one has edited the file for them

These people have generally a considerable "Please help me" post count,with no working relationships with anyone here....ie...they're not prepared to help other people out when they need it

From here on in,these types of posts will be binned,and if that member persists with these types of posts...they will be booted from this Site

I think it's only fair that we should all expect some level of reciprocity here...ie....I scratch your back..you scratch mine ?

Guys,it's a community that works both ways for everybody...not just take,take,take

HI , i think what u said is not like that, but i have seen most of the time including me that some of us have very few knowledge on all this and this is our learning way to do this job, so its not like we are not assisting and working both ways its just that we dont know as much as others on this site, and i am sure there are times that You also asked for help, me myself i will be glad to help someone with stuff, so by talking about getting people out who do not help is a nasty thought.as we are all not the same .thank you

ok Johneer you have the algos on dashes and i have nothing on ecu algo's .. how we explain that to the public that is only trying to make sense out of this great kaos .
I mean if you try and want to search this kaos you will find many explanations for your problem vehicle but it migt be inbetween the lines you read it .
Anyway i like spending time on here without askikng aquestion

in all honesty i understand the complaints, but isnt that why the thanks and reputation is for?... i dont get to spend too much time on site as i work alone on vehicles. 80% of things posted on here i have no clue on whats is being done and possible machines that do the job as im learning into other parts of software as i go, and when one asks about programs/machines that does it one gets no response. its tough out here in the real world, and DK members have been very helpful to me in my times of need. its very seldom i find a post which i am actually able to assist the next member where i can and half the time if you can assist then someone else have already aided them. but please judge those people individually on there means of contributing. i also want again to thank all those on here that has aided me in past.

I can see the Johnner's point in being frustrated with the take take take approach of some users. When I started out working on the vehicle’s I work on I knew zero, and from applying a bit of brain grease, help from others, and some epiphanys, I’ve become pretty good at one specific vehicle, but I haven’t mastered everything on it and I had to join Digital Kaos to start that process. I am new to the forum but from the replies I’ve had so far I’d say it seems like a pretty decent place for people to exchange information. I am an optimist though.

If I could offer and analogy….

It’s kind of like school isn’t it….Some people like to pass on knowledge, they’re the teachers who offer great value…, and some people need information, and we should help them as we would with students, and you’ve the janitor… in some sense maybe that’s the forum admin who clean up the mess some students make, making the forum a better environment for everybody… but where there’s a school there’s a peado? – Johnner, are you saying these takers are the peados? :-?

I was a newbie, also, i still am. Because you cannot keep the steps with technology. Started from zero with your help here. But these days a newbie used dirty words for not having an answear from the forum regarding his problem. C'mon, say hello post, 2 asking posts and a 4th post with dirty words for the forum...
Not like that. Those like him must be banned for good and blocked their IP forever.
