Hi Rudamie;
Thanks for that but i have already got Incal August 2010 and cant seem to find a calibration that covers this ECM ?
Was wanting to know if anyone knew if any older version of Incal included a calibration for this CM550 ECM ?.
Also do you know why some of the releases of Incal people are posting or saying they got, are:
Incal March 2010
Incal April 2010
Incal August 2010
Incal Sept 2010
etc
The way i understand it, it is released every 6 months so why so many different dates or months ?
or is say March/April the same release just people naming it differently, the same with August/Sept ?.
Hope you can help or know anyone that can or anyone reading this thread, esp with the ECM Calibration.
Cheers
regards
Lenuk
Cummins releases new incal dvd's to subscibers every month unless there was no additions or changes.
The dvd's expire after 6 months, to ensure the you use the most up to date calibration. So if you have the Aug '10 you don't really need to worry about finding a newer release until January. Or if you only use a few of the cals on the dvd you can modify the .dat file and .mbd file inside the .cmp archive with winrar to extend the expiration.
A Special Thanks to RUDAMIE and JCTECH for all the support. You guys ROCK!
i all how to calibrate a ECM ISB engine but I have no serial number and the engine ECM and how incalculable the truck model is 2011
I am now studying the possibility of reprogramming a Celect or Celect Plus ECM from automotive to genset application. Has anyone done this?
Has any one tested recalibrating with an IC4 interface? I ran across a footprinted ecm yesterday and would like to know if it is possible with my interface. Thanks guys.

As long as your interface will connect with the ecm and show all the options it should work just fine what are you trying to reprogram isx, n14 etc
It was an ISB, when I connected to it it came up with a error that the ecm footprinted, it needed to be recalibrated before I could do anything, IT SUCKS! I had to send it to a dealer in fear I might make it worse if done wrong. I've connected to other cummins ecms and this is the first that was footprinted. I know the last garage that played with it and they could fcuk up a rock.

rswire,
i have had same problem with celect plus n14 could not burn it through rom burn so i started with key on and flash froze up at 96% when it was restoring saved features and parameters and did not finish sat there for about 1/2 hr at 96%. so i alt control delete insite to close and try to start engine and it started. but when i hook up insite same error ecm footprinted. could not read parameters, codes, data ect. but i was able to start flash again through calibration and second time if finished on its own all i had to do is manually set in all the paramters. but it worked. i used a dearborn group usb4+ adapter
