Galletto 1260 Simtec 56 read problem

Hello guys! I’m building an amateur racing car for track days, it’s an Opel Vetcra B 2.0 with X20XEV engine and I have trouble to reading / writing the ECU. I have a Galletto 1260 programmer, but it don't read anything from the ECU. This is probably a Simtec 56 (no label on it). When I try to read the ECU, the program freeze for a while and then says "Read done" but I don't get any data, I only see a few dots in the ECU Data window. I'm using a Windows 7 32-bit laptop. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks a lot!

Can you explain how to do it? In the MPPS v18 manual, I see that it is not compatible with my ECU.
