    Default NISSAN X-TRAIL 2009 ECU/ECM REFLASHING

    Hi all,

A friend of mine tried to delete and reprogram his car keys using Autel MaxisysS. Accidentally he pressed
the "ECU replaced" button and now the BCM cannot sync with the ECU/ECM (Electronic Computer Unit/Module).

He reprogrammed the keys but the car will not start and the immobiliser light is solid ON.

Does anyone knows if I refresh the ECU/ECM will solve the problem, or I need to fully reprogram the ECU/ECM unit?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Disconnect Battery touch both postive and negative together for 10 min then attach terminals and reset codes. If still nothing with your autel tool go to ECM then go to special fucntions and there should be button for reset ecu. try that as well. I have used that function before to read and write for reaplcement ECU on my maxysys elite but never had a issue. (used module)
