Hi all,

MB Star diagnose recieved. Emulator recieved.
Tried to connect to ECU with OBD2, didnt work out.
Tried with 38pin adapter, got HTTWin setup, but when trying to enter ECU it gives me fault code:
ME1RE, System is not connected or open circuit in diagnostic cable.

Connected all according to diagram. Diagnostic pin to PIN 4 in 38 pin adapter.
Tried also connecting CAN-H to PIN 4 but same issue.

Any help please or ideas?

If You have My emulator i tell You how add EMU to this ECU without star diagnose and without any change in files this ECU.

ECU may be dead so no use for emulator :/ Already have bought Julie emulator but do send me a message if you sell/have your own emulator and I can check.

I am in same situation as Deluxe.. I tried to purchase emulator from the site listed above, but can't seem to find a distributor that will sell to us here in the US...
Deluxe, were you ever able to talk to the ME on the bench??

Hi,

I bought the emulator, MB SD, connected everything correctly. Got connection to HHT-WIN but now facing another issue.
HHT-WIN cant read my ECU config and says:
"Engine control module is implausible coded"

I also noticed when enter hht-win in the CM Adaptation menu only have two options and your manual video show 3 option wich is 1) Variant coding 2) Correction program 3) Self adaptation. In my hht-win i only have first two in the menu.

Any ideas?

I ended up soldering in the julie emulator, read the HC11 chip, left the wires soldered onto it, sent it back to shop that sent the ME to me with instructions.. He was able to read coding from module in the car, then write the modified bin back to the HC11 and then put back in car and adapt ME to the emulator.. Car runs, shop and customer are happy...

could any of the data be corrupted on the HC11 chip?? Wonder if you have a bad ME??

Hi,

I possible have bad ME ECU because I cant write new coding either manually or not. When trying to read it says ecu emplausibly coded, try to erase and read again.
Erase possible but not writing.
My HC11 data seem to be intact and well..

I am getting crazy with this ecu

Dont know what to do by this time and car little far away for me to drive and try to read config when ecu is connected to car.

Can I be nosy and ask how are you reading on the bench?? I tried every pinout I could find, even tried wiring a 38 pin connector up to it, but couldn't talk to it on the bench...

I am working on the same ecu. I followed the instructions in the video but want to confirm that the green wire was left off.
