    Default Injector code calculation Bosch

    Hello
Does anyone have any info on how injector codes are generated? I know that many test stands automaticly produce them while the refurbished injector is tested.
But not on this test stand from my customer. They rework really huge injectors from marine diesels. The test stand spits out raw test value data only.
There was an adroid app some years ago called "injector magic" but this does not exist anymore i think?
    Any info is welcome.
    Thanks,

Hello my friend, see below info from google:
Coding, Correction Code, Grading or Trims?

These are all common terminology used for generating a new code for a reconditioned injector. In essence coding, correction code and grading all refer to the same thing - an alphanumeric code which is assigned to an injector. The alphanumeric code varies in length between different Fuel Injector (FI) manufacturers and different product families. The term trims however is the odd one out. It’s possible that OE test methods may have over 400 measurement points to determine the performance characteristics of an injector, although from the 400 points there are really only a handful of critical measurements points, i.e. 16, which are used for generating a new code and these are known as trims. This refers to the performance offset or error at a critical measurement point against where the injector should be performing.
Coding is fundamentally the most important aspect of CR injector calibration because new and reconditioned injectors alike need to be re-aligned to deliver the correct quantity of fuel at the right time during the combustion stroke, to meet stringent emissions standards.

    Best regards !

    Hello.
We are aware what the code does and what calibration is good for. But how to calculate injector codes when the test stand only spits out the raw data measurement values. What are the formulas to create such injector codes?
    Thanks
