fvdi 2014 problems

hi all.
my fvdi 2014 with serial F04551 stoped work properly. in this moment vw 8.6 aplication can be loaded only. reinstalated software much times. sometimes work all 3 version vw, sometimes after reinstalation work another one or two car other no.sometimes got error 5. tried several usb and cusb port seting without success.my window is xp. any halp?

Take old laptop - format the hard disk - Install XP 32 and dont install other programs use it only for FVDI

Make a new partition on your drive and install a 32bit windows on it. Install fvdi on it and use that partition only for FVDI. I had a same problem when I had vcds installed on same windows with fvdi. It causes instability for some reason. Leave the other partition for your old windows with your old softwares.
EDIT: One small thing to add, make sure you disable selective usb suspending in power managment setting on your windows, it also causes simmilar errors to devices connected after booting into OS.

Guys, make new particon at D installed xp and installed fvdi. Work great until open first window. Software go on. Than I installing again and working. What to do now?

If all work well, leave it as it is. Just disable USB suspending in power options (just in case) cause it could cause problems sometimes.
