    Default Bmw e91 2.0d m47 edc16c35

hello, my first post here (and eng isnt my main lang), im steel learning so please be patient and forgiving .
im trying tune my car always alone and next lvl is make changes in ecu.

so i want reed his controller on bench (not by bdm), bcs i heard its more safer, and my battery is ~12v (11.99-11.90 but normal working)
    like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aqa...l=ERAutomotive

but i have litle bit different tools

mpps v21 with this cable (in attachments)
power supply (in attachments) 12v and 5A, i measure the tension and gauge shows 12.25v but in mpps program shows 11.99v
and i dont know is it safe bcs should be ~13v

    i checked pinout edc16c35 here https://nat-corporation.com/DORABIAN...35-ecu-pinout/
and i gonna put just 12v, gnd, and k-line, i dont need can h and can L (or i dont know something).

i heards many things about mpps but by this tool i was read ecu from skoda (everything was good) and he correctly reading dtc code from this e91. (in attachments)

and i think what i have to do when program ask for put off key and put on. i have some button on this cable, so its for it? (or like in this video, just turn off 12v and turn on)

please answere for my questions and
tell me what you think about this method and is it safe?

    regards

Hi Frend. This button is used to turn on the power. Well let me tell you mpps is moderately safe. Because you have to count the checksum yourself. If you forget to do it and upload the file. This will block the ecu. How do you have the Cinska clon version. Sometimes you have problems reading and not uploading. Or it reads the file wrong. Galleto talks well with this driver. And it's not expensive anymore. Well, it depends on you how many times you will upload ecu.

I have a bad experience with clone. So I would do it after bdm. Just be sure to double-check the bdm connection. In order not to turn the adapter 180 degrees. Because you're gonna burn the computer. But nah you have a sure reading.

Sometimes I use. Ori version. You can forget Chinese maple. You want it, invest in galleto and it will be ok with this ecu
