    Default Dbox2 no channels error.

2 day my tv screen went blank. When i checked for another station the error
no channels found appeared from the dbox(2). I rebooted the box but no
difference, still no channels, in the scan menu the cable provider had changed to Kabeldutchland!! I FTP'ed the Services.xml file back to the dbox - still no channels.

I reflashed the box and now ok. Any ideas how the provider would change as the
image on the box has been on it for a few months now.

no idea why, but it happened to me before, reflashed it and all was well and still is to this day even though i dont own the box anymore.

i got told (when i asked about this) the tuner was on its way out but that was 3 years ago . i know fact the box is still going strong.

i put it down to a software error in the end, reflashed and fine.

just see how it goes and only worry if it keeps doing it.

Your image has gone into locked read-only mode. There's no reason why this happens, it just does.

If your service provider has changed to Kabeldutchland then you will need to reflash the image.

Everything should be ok once you reflash.

Teewest etc have changed all the Keys to there system, you have to go in and manual change the settings, don't worry they have all went down across the UK, i left the instructions on how to change it at home but i will post them later.
Mine went down at 6.37 last nite, and 5 channels is juts not worth having!!!

Flash any image you want mate, there are a few in the downloads.

Just make sure that you chose the correct type of image for your box, all Nokias are 2x (this means that it has 2 flash chips) and Sagems can be either 1x or 2x (1 or 2 chip).

The images will say 1x or 2x, look carefully and grab the correct one.
