Default Remote programming 206 2004 K-line siemens 95160 bsi drama!

    206 2004 K-line siemens 95160 bsi with id46

I have created 5 different Xhorse remotes.
Then programmed them all, plus the oem remote belonging to this csar.

    I did check,
High frequenty remote control: Reciption of an identified message ; non of the xhorse remotes
High frequenty remote control: Reciption of an unidentified message : only 1 of the xhorse remotes (the one first in the menu)

After pressing a xhorse remote to match. The bsi goes in antiscanning mode.

The old oem remote, worked almost instant.

    I also tried keydiy remotes.

Never had any luck with these. Accept on some 206cc.
    never on a C2 or regular 206

I have tried all: with and without options.

charger, different waiting times, open closed doors.
    starting, locking doorlock, etc.

Either these remotes are not well suited. Or it just a crappy system

i never had problem with KD on peugeot 206, tho it needed sometimes to try few different programs cir58 etc...

Is your 206 hatch, estate or CC ? and does it have front foglights?

Please keep a failsafe reprom file from bsi just in case. Multiple programming atempts can lead to corrupted data.
I also couldn't do one 206 that I knew ot had a remote before. I tried every single option in both keydiy and xhorse and none worked.

If the bsi can see the remote it will be the correct one. Read the transponder before programming, then read the bsi eeprom after programming and post both to check remote bytes (3 bytes) have written correctly.

I programmed keydiy remote for 206 with success but I heard there are couple of versions and KD remote do not work with all.

Also, try again and wait patiently couple minutes after programming. Sometimes they start working with delay.

I repairded the oem remote, and made a regular spare key.
So, this Car is not available, anymore to try this.

I use Smok uhds to Read eeprom, and program the Keys.

This 206 Car type produced from the 10-2003 till 12-2004.
It did not have fog lights.

The test, with 5 Keys, showed that only 1 matched.

So, i Will look for a Car, with Siemens,
And then Read key before, eeprom after.

    Many thanks to all,

    Greetings Robbert

I dont want to leave IT to chance, if a remotes is going to be correct,
OR if i AM going to the procedures correct.
So, cutting to the chase, and checking these bytes, sounds good.
I have waisted to much time, on these cars allready,

    So, after programming,
I could manualy type in the 3 bytes, to make the remote work?
    That would be perfect.

    cartools made a tool.
It is to reuse oem psa remotes,
It detects the rf signal, and give you matching transponder data.

Take file from this thread for reference.

First invert bytes for whole file then data becomes clear.

    Pin code 0x71-0x6E = 24VB
    0x49-0x46 = Key 1 ID: 30495519
    0x5C-0x5A = Key 1 Remote: 9960E0
    0x4D-0x4A = Key 2 ID: B4F42E19
    0x61-0x5E = key 2 remote: 000000 (non remote key)

This thread shows how to fill the transponder pages.

To find the User2 data generate KD or XHorse remotes and use live data to check if car can see an unidentified key when a button is pressed. If you have generated the wrong one the car wont see anything. Once it sees the key then read the User2 transponder page for the data (last one I done was 0C7A FFFF)

This was really useful when a garage I do a fair bit of work for managed to loose a transponder walking around a gravel forecourt while changing a remote battery. I managed to save the original remote.
