w211 Eis wiped

Went out to a W211 (HC12) that another locksmith had tried to make a key for. In the process the EIS was wiped and that is how i found it. I have the full dump from the EIS (which has all keys locked and is not initialized) but do not know how to add it back to the car. I don't have an original other than one generated by VVDIMB when i made a spare for it a year ago. I tried rewriting it in the car with that file but it fails to write. The file generated in vvdimb is much smaller. Can anyone help unlock it? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Is the flash still good?

Look for a complete dump, eepr and flash.
Write that in the lock using programmer.
Then renew this lock.
And write by ir, the old file that you have.

Make a key, to activated it.

That’s the issue. It won’t write by IR. I’ve got another w211 EIS to try this morning. Thanks

these sorta jobs are horrible.

I bet all time spent even if u do eventually have success that idiot bloke doing keys who u said - has earnt twice as much doing straight jobs.

know what it's like tho once start something never stop.

You could try another ECU set easier.

Just to follow up the files given to test didn’t work. I had another member send me a working file through DM. Many thanks fo Ethel help from all.

Yeah it’s such a waste of resources. Have a look at this Kessy that was brought to me from a Cayenne. Not even sure what the other locksmith thought was gonna happen.

That's a hard one!
2 of the legs are broken.
Did you manage to read out the data?

I must say as a general rule, dont do any soldering without flux.
And here in this situation, someone needs their glasses as well.

I have a microscope with a cam and display. All in one.
It helps me inspect any solder job, before I connect the module into the vehicle.
And also very good to read out the name of the manufacturer of the eeprom.

Yeah a tough one. The eeprom was totally destroyed. Lifted three pads also.

I bought a cheap usb microscope on eBay years ago that goes with me everywhere.

I video and save all my projects so I can go back and critique my work. Also to determine if I’ve made a mistake and can walk my way backwards.

May be able to file down to reach metal where legs broke off. Hope successful

I've received a mazda 3 ECU, ask to clone.

But after check PCB, i give it up. Never see anything like that even i've knew this guy with bad work before.

My case isn't soldering skill. It just come from a fool guy who know nothing about electronic.

If i've gave up, it isn't because solder, but because the dammage on the car already has before it come to me.

And clone the ECU will not solve his problem.
