Simple, select French language in setings and if necessary buy French soft pack for your S/N number.

If you want French language in wince5 -Settings-Control Panel-
    Regional Settings-language-French (if allowed ).
Then -Reset button.I do not recommend it-in Diagun a bad memory.
If you want French in diagnostic Settings-French .
In your update file in folder GAG\VEHICLES\DGAUDI\V26.20 must be French GAGLIC.FR AUDI_FR.ggp ,AUDI_OLD_FR.ggp,GAGLIC.FR .This file only for one S/N.
    You can in http://just431.com/?nav=programs&device=7
free download Demo with French language and your S/N.

    Sorry for jumping in.
Does the emulator work with usb-connection, too? Or is only a serial connection possible? I have some difficulties with bluetooth and i wonder which wired solution i can try.

btw: thanx for your great work

Yes that solution i found. But i was wondering about the usb plug from diagun smartbox. I have no cable for that connector, so i like to know if that plug is useable for emulator? Otherwise i don't buy that cable.

As i see now (have to clean my glasses ;-)) the smartbox port has a "serial" symbol (i was thinking of some kind of "mini usb")

I see 2x6 pins, is this a combined rs232 and usb port? Are all needed pins (rx, tx,...) on this smartbox port, do you know the pinout? And do you know where to buy the opposite plug, how is it called?

How is the original diagun cable wired?

If i see it right, i have 3 choices to connect the smartbox wired with pc and use emulator:
    a) use original diagun cable (i don`t have yet)
    b) build such a cable myself (if i find the right plug and pinout)
    c) solder a rs232 cable direct to pcb as shown in this thread

Smartbox work only with Com-port! You can use USB-Com adapter.(search as usb serial adapter)
I recommend to do everything slowly - step by step.
    1. Run the emulator on a large computer with Com-port.
You can check the emulator without
machine - must give in smartboks 12 volts and test the program Demo. Connect to the points as shown. http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...help-cable.jpg
. Then you can connect to the machine and check .
Cable length can be 10 meters - I think that you have enough length to connect to the machine with a PC.
Connectors such I have never seen. I saw on sale
Diagun cable for $ 30. It can be cut and altered.
But I recommend to solder directly to smartboks. Connector is small and often breaks.
    3. If you like work the emulator you can buy an adapter USB-Com and try on a laptop.
    4. I recommend to buy HC-05 the unit it works well.(Bluetooth UART RS232 COM Converter Module+TTL Adapter Daughter Board)
If you have a faulty Diagun - can you unsolder BT modules and work with him.
