    Default Transit custom

    Hey
Has anyone had issues with mileage keep jumping back on a 2016 transit custom ?
Mileage will change but drive 4-5 miles and it jumps back up .

    Default possible fix

two causes and two possible solutions:
you may need to reflow your eeprom- probally a bad connection on the leg joints.
FYI the last good known mileage is also kept in the mcu so that might be giving you the mileage bounce back!
or you may have damaged your eeprom caused during a backwards power connection during your R/W.
just clone your data to your replaced eeprom
