Default ECU thermal compound, how to remove?

    Hi,
i wanted to ask, is there a way to make thermal adhesive (like one used in top part of edc16) softer or dissolve it?
i have ecu with whole backplate 'glued' with this thermal compound, i tried to heat/forze it but it won`t give up, and there is no space to stick a razor.

    Thanks in advance!

Hello mate, long time ago you can buyed a chemical called “ tolueno “, partners said it was good to clean glue and dirty parts from airplanes and glued ECUs, but here the government retired from the market because they said that Tolueno can generate cancer in your body “

    Hope You can understand me.

    Regards

Hi, you can use Methylethylketon it’s good to clean and remove the resins. I think in some places in EU removed the product because can cause cancer.
