    Default Navara D40 Non start

Hi I have got a Nissan Navara 2011 3.0 V9X diesel in at the moment that wont start.
Came in with No key and out of Fuel.
    (Stolen recovered)
Had key programmed (eventually as he had some sort of trouble with it)
Key light goes out when ignition switched on.
Eventually got 300+ Bar of fuel in live data as it was I nightmare to bleed.
    But still not starting.
I have the earth wires on injector plugs pulsing on and off when cranking but No positive on the other terminal...!
Does that sound like still immobilized or ecu fault/Wiring etc as I would have thought if immobiliser it would not pulse the earth signal.

    Thanks Belmo04

If was stolen and out of fuel and has 300 bar sounds more like immboliser sync
    issues.

    disconecnt battery for a bit.

would have been grief to bleed if ‘not running ‘

try tiny bit of easy start, but have you checked fault codes?

leave ignition on for an hour - add battery charger

sounds more like ecu thinking you spent hours trying to pinch it and dhut down

    Thanks for the reply.
We have injectors pulsing and fuel rail pressure so I'm thinking now maybe timing issue.
The reason I thought there was no power to injector was because when I tested for power once I got the earth pulse I presumed the positive side would be permanent ignition live...!
But that isn't the case it is pulsed the same time as the earth..!
So I got fuel, pulse to injectors and wont fire.
Put some easy start down it and wont even go off that.Back fired slightly once and it basically spat the easy start out and set alight to the rad for a split 2nd....
Which is why I think timing issue.
Thought they were usually ok reference timing chains...?
Looks a nightmare to check the timing on this engine..!😥

That is odd can understand “out of fuel” or “timing out” but not both.

only logic is who nicked it thought it was a rental car, mullered the timing but was still ok to run

the “missing/stolen key” is ‘acceptable’ but if had my way, you nick a car and ditch the key, you get

Yes indeed it is an odd one.
Car had an empty can of diesel on back and looks like it had a new fuel filter fitted pretty recently as the new clip for the top of it was in the door pocket.
We had a new key programmed but the chap did have a few problems coding it.Had to get another aerial.
Anyhow think key is ok as key symbol stops flashing when switched on.
Just strange its not running off easystart is my concern. It sort of has a little whiff then backfires the easystart back out the trhrottle body which is why I think timing issue.
I was thinking maybe cracked rocker arms but believe this engine doesn't have any as the cam is direct above hydraulic buckets.
As said we now have fuel pressure and once above 300bar the injectors start to pulse which suggests ecu unlocked etc.
    No faults on ecu etc....!
Turn over by hand and it feels like it has got some compression.
Even just to check the timing on this looks a few ours work...!
Glow plugs were bone dry as well but only taken two out but would have expected them to be wet.
Maybe we need more fuel pressure.....?
But still not trying on easystart.......?
Thanks for taking your time with your thoughts.

What if you tow it in gear a mile, see if any faulty codes egp0340
and/or remove cam sensor see if flags a code

Well, tow to 28mph select drive, if it destroys the box blame it on the theif

ok, no sure if mentioned, try cranking the crap out of it for 30 seconds
then leave ignition on see if logged code.

    next step scope

then learn how the dk thanks button works

    Hi

Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem. I have a V9X Navara with the exact same symptoms, 300 plus bar of pressure, pulsing injector signals, checked timing chains, wont go with easy start just blows it out the throttle body. Came in as a non start but don't know its history

    Cheers
