    Default erasing chip rh 86

    hi

I am trying to erase a chip RH 86 from an airbag ECU but i am not being successful.

I read the chip with UUprog-s as 93C86 16 bit and it works fine.

    Chip has been desoldered.

Clicking erase i get success from UUprog-s.

However when i read again the same data is there.
    Blank check also gives success

I tried to write a new file but though it says successful old file still remains

Any idea what could be wrong?

I connected pin 7 the write protect tried that too without success
    Used 5.0 V
