I've never had success transferring data from clone (have 2 clones and tried many drivers) I write to chip and read with codiprog / carprog / xtool or any other reader.
If things seem under control, you are simply just not going fast enough!!

Yeah i kind of gathered it is a bit of a useless battel tyring to get it to connect to pc, all i am trying to do is change the mileage on a citreon DS4 2016 BSI continental eeprom 95256 but the only bsi on digiprog 3 with 95256 i can see is under Peugeot 508 but when i try to take a read to change the mileage it just comes up (unknown device) so i took a read of the eeprom and saved it hoping i could send it over to my pc and one of you guys here could change the mileage for me but as you can see im stuck with the file on the tool and cant get it over to pc, is there any other car or bsi on this digiprog3 i could try and change the mileage under ?

Connect digiprog first, in special menu enable pc terminal and then start eetool2.exe and choose right com port where device is located.

With it you can download/upload/delete dumps from device.

When you install eetool just put this file in the same directory and create shortcut to it.

Only if your Digi has the FTDI chip and 93c46 buffer, a lot of clones do not.

So in my experience i had to simply download the digiprog3 setup and in that it gives you the drivers for the usb, after that was done i downloaded eetool original so i get the English language File, then download eetool2 and place the english file inside that file. i then connected my digiprog 3 to the computer and checked what port my digiprog was connected to in my case it says (com port 6) then go on the digiprog3 tool under special functions and press ( PC TERM ) after you press that do not touch anything els to not press the Tick arrow as this turns PC TERM back off, Then load up eetool2.exe and select your com port that your digiprog3 is set to and jobs done it loads up and brings up all your files from digiprog 3, so the main problem was i was pressing PC TERM on and then selecting the tick arrow which actualy turns it back off even though it says its still on, i hope this helps someone in the future.
