    Hello, Can anybody help me? With fault P0601 on this ECU? I have two ecus with same fault

    0261S02018
    fault P0601 - checksum - Mil on

    removing the error will not fix the ecu, it will only hide the fault or many bugs

    It works absolutely normal, Car runs fine without any problem except Engine light ON. I have two ECUs with same fault. Trust me, customer just want to disable this Fault

    This DTC is not bebause damaged eeprom structure. Itīs like a deathbyte, the eeprom checksum, where this byte is stored is correct. I already did this ecu by removing the dtc in flash. This has the advantage, that you dont need to take out and open the ecu. But if you already open the ecu, it is better to repair the ecu by eeprom.
