just be careful as ive seen some boxes have a digit more on the sticker underneath and bk is generated correctly from that one
and when generated from the number in the menu it wont work

    MENU OPTION
To get your boxkey find your sky serial number in the menu.
On your Sky Menu there should be a 10 digit serial number.
DELETE THE FIRST 2 Digits and use a Dec to hex converter
    (windows calculator on every pc)
which will result in 7 digits hex. Add a 0 to the front and you
    got your BOXKEY

or if using the 17 digit no. on bottom of box

    Code:

I had to try all the sets of digits i could find converted until one worked, just had to guess which one was right, I think it was the hardest one, Powering the box an looking in the menu.

Read the Rules here; they apply to EveryOne.

Guys can someone help, I am trying to get my card paired to my dm500s but having problems, when scanning on 28.2 i get the fta channels but none of the premium channels are working.

After looking round the forum i understand the most likely cause is that the card is not paired with the dreambox. However I am havin difficulty in doing this I have attached a copy of what my cccam.config looks like. I am running the gemini 4.20 image on my clone dm500s any help will be appreciated.

    SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
    INFO LISTEN PORT : 16000
HTML INFO LISTEN PORT : 16001
    ZAP OSD TIME : 0
    OSD USERNAME : root
    OSD PASSWORD : dreambox
    SHOW TIMING : yes
    MINI OSD : yes
    DEBUG : no
    DISABLE EMM : yes
    EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes
    SOFTKEY FILE : /var/keys/SoftCam.Key
    AUTOROLL FILE : /var/keys/AutoRoll.Key
    STATIC CW FILE : /var/keys/constant.cw
    CAID IGNORE FILE : /var/keys/CCcam.ignore
    LOG WARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt
    BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 03 E0 DC 99

by the way this is not my box key just using it as an example to show what the cccam file looks like.

    Thanks

use the number from bottom of box, and if there is only 10 or 11 digits there add zeros to the start of it to make 17 digits and run it in the bk generator in link above

Followed Red Devils guide, worked first time. When I checked my serial number from the menu it was an 11 digit no just missed off the last no nd it went ok.
