Golf 4 tdi a need + power

hi, can someone help me give a little more power to this Golf 4 tdi 6 speeds?
I think that due to a fault in the past they changed the ecu unit for another one, which I'm not sure if it is the same reference as the one it had as standard.
the car is good but I wish it had a little more power.
