    in my opinion is amarok the best prog for listening webradio...

    There's so many audio programs for linux so I'm gonna list a couple good ones:

    Rhythmbox
    Amarok
    Exaile
    Banshee
    BMPx
    Listen
    XMMS
    Quod Libet

    You just have to try them out and then use the one that you feel most comfortable with.

    I personally use Rhythmbox, it has all I need.

    For playback i use rhythmbox...
    But after read this thread I am just curious: Has OSS better quality than Pulse Audio indeed?

    I using for players sound cl?mentine is one light amarok.

    It is very fun :

    For my ipod i using banshee.

    Default Lightweight Audio Player : MPD + Sonata

    If you care about memory footprint then use

    MPD + Sonata

    or else just go with

    Amarok

    i would recommend either VLC Player or Banshee.
