hello

I have a Audi RS6 2004 4.2 V8 biturbo and i want to remove the speed limiter (280km/h). I work in a car service and i can do it myself if someone tells me how is done or which software to use.

I also need a chiptuning for my car. Can anyone here do it for me and ill pay ( i need a proffessional tuning and not amateur)

it costs too much.they cost 3.000$ i was thinking for something around 500$(chip tuning).Speed limiter free.Is it possible?

Professional and cheap are mutually exclusive.

try GIAC they are good and when they chip it ask them to remove the limiter i think is about $500, i think.

1. Speed limiter,you want remove yourself....it s limited by ECU,so you cannot do it yourself.

2.chiptuning. You want mess up your engine. Professional,sure no amateur tuning,but you wanna pay amateur price.

If you can buy an RS6,pay tax and gasoline this car needs,i think the price of 1300? isnt so unrealistic(prof tuning)...and for some 200? more you will get the speedlimiter also raised.

Prices for special cars as porsche lambo or even audi RS6,are around 1500?,so i dont really think we could find good quality tuning tested on dyno for 500usd.

Reading your post,i think you need always your limiter raising.

If you wanna do yourself,you need cheap kwp2000 or kwp2000+ flashing tool...(working clone will also do it

and then you need ME7 flasher software,which can be loaset for free from www chiptunawarehouse com Downloads

if you post your original file here,i will raise you the limiter for free,but i dont do the tuning;-)

One thing often overlooked when removing the speed limiter is that "they" put it there for a reason.

If zee Germans sold there uber saloons without the 155mph limiter they'd also have to spec the car to be safe & driveable at 200mph(ish) that most of them are capable of. To do this would push the production & purchase prices up to much so its more sensable to cap the top speed.

The RS6 is a well built bit of kit but for me to travel in one at speeds over 155mph on a regular bases I'd want it to be in nothing but tip top condition, most importantly the tyres & there tempremental pressure monitoring system also the suspension & its Dynamic ride control components, a good working set of stoppers wouldn't go a miss either.
