So, the problem remains... still B1163

After writing files and clearing codes, the dash light disappears. After restarting the car, the light comes on and the B1163 comes back. I tried every file you sent me.

This car had all airbags blown, front, seat, roof... Bags were replaced by the customer, so I don't know how they were installed and connected.

There is also code U023587 in 4 other modules, not sure if it's related to any of this.

I told the customer to fix all of the remaining issues so there aren't any other codes left. if there's still a problem, get a new module from the dealer.

Can the module itself be bad?...

U023587 ==No communication with radar sensor (front middle)

B1163 is originally defined as airbag failure. In the repair module, most of it is caused by programmer's problems. Vvdiprog can solve this problem well

If b1163 appears after you repair the module, you only need to replace vvdiprog and rewrite dump to solve it perfectly.

Of course, b1163 will also appear if there is a problem with the front impact sensor or the wiring is reversed

Original CarProg can't write it properly? After I write and read the file from the module again, the files match 100%

I will try that and check the sensors like BOLONC said. I have no idea what else was done to the car. Going to be a long weekend.

Thanks guys, I will keep you posted
