Default Checksum Error while reading [KTAG]

Hello, i recently tried to read a EDC17C64 With KTAG Clone using Tricore. KTAG Would read no problem until 100% "Reading successfully completed", but while trying to save i get "Checksum error, send the software vendor the backup file".

My ECU has been tuned before by some tuner, from what i know he simply used some tuning file service, and maybe they have some file protection in place. I've tried to search for NOREAD but without luck. Now i'm wondering if my tool is bad, or its just the fact that the file is somehow protected. Thinking of pulling out my MPPS and trying to read the ecu using the Tricore cable, to see if i get the same result.

The tuner also won't respond to my emails to send me the original file for my ECU... so i also can't try to flash back the original file.

I have attached the files. Maybe that someone will be able to recognize if the files are somehow protected, or that the tool is just bad and saved some rubbish or that my KSUITE installation is missing some driver or something.

    Hello,

Very strange... I have not set any password, but when i put the Micro file in an archive, it somehow appears to have a password?

So its a KSUITE issue? I've used 2.25 when reading this ECU. I do have a 2.23 copy of KSUITE somewhere. I guess i will need to try that. Otherwise i will be on the search for Ksuite 2.22.

Try to download and install "Visual C ++" and then dump your map file into ecu

i will try to install Visual C++ but im 99% sure its already installed. I currently don't want to risk putting these files back on the ECU as i do not have the original file, in case these files are not correctly read from the ECU by KTAG.

Hi! You should use KSuite223_no_cs, which will not check the Checksum, read the ECU, you read normal flash and eeprom, then write the flash again, by using KSuite223 which supports counting Checksum = and your problem SOLVED)
