Touran 2011. Instrument Cluster update

Hi friends.
Have Touran 2011. with cluster:
1T0920881a hw 05, sw 0206
Is it possible to update software of it?

I have searched .sgo but there is no official update for this cluster.
I’ve heard that is possible to update to 0505 but then need to mod eeprom content too.
*i need to update cluster to get “drive data” inf on retrofited MIB2 navigation*
Can you help with this?

That hardware can be upgraded to SW05xx as highest version.
You can use any such SW05xx FRF update.
Indeed afterwards write a suitable and matching SW05xx eeprom (with your immo inserted), and all will be fine.

As I've said any colour cluster FRF to SW05xx is suitable, so you can use this one:
FL_5N0920883__0506_S

Please read and post here your original current unmodified cluster.

Here is your new eeprom which you must write after flashing to SW0506 is completed.

i will post result just to catch time and try this.

Tell me one more thing, is there any chance to back up firmware of my cluster, just in case of uknwanted scenario.. wich tool can be used?

Reading flash is possible with some tools but writing requires a special tool for the NEC.
It's easier to reflash again with FRF to a lower version if you need to, for example using this FRF:
FL_5K0920880__0209_S

Also an SW04xx version would be possible.

This eeprom that you preperad for me have different p/n from 5n0920883 that i use for
Update.. that is ok, not gonna be problem?
( maybe stupid question but i am a little afraid

)

I used an original Touran SW05xx eeprom and copied your immo data.
This will give the best result for your cluster.
So flash it to SW0506 and then write my eeprom and you are good to go.
