Passat B8 speedometer on bench connection

Hi guys, I got the salvage instrument cluster 3G0 920 320B (it's from the passat B8)
I want to see if the screen works fine. I managed to find little bit of pinout, but after supplying +12V and GND, the screen remains black.
I tried to connect diagnostic VCDS 12.12: Can High; Can Low; +12V and GND, but when trying to make diag with VCDS I only see slight current increase, but screen still remains blank.

Maybe there are some pin on this cluster that activates the screen (car unlocked, door open or etc?). I don't want to got through all pins testing +12V - don't want to short anything.

Cluster have single 18 pin connector.

Hi. New clusters need wake up signal, sent by can bus.

Hi, I got some information, that the cluster may need signal coming from the 5F module, which is information electronics unit. So I guess basically without the car it will be impossible to start?

Hi, search for solution in dashboard thread (Power up collection), some tools have option -send wake up message to cluster on table , arduino can send too, if you find what data must be sent.

you can use Iscancar MM-00t to simulate BCM, GW, 5F , ECU etc ... also help to wake up cluster
