    Default Help! I recommend which tool. MagPro2 x17 or KESS V2 5.030 2.55 clone

hi, i need to replace my old instrument
    and I thought between them. MagPro2 x17 or KESS V2 5.030 2.55 clone
Which one do you recommend? which one to be the best?
KESS V2 5.030 2.55 this is the clone version.
While MagPro2 x17 is original in full, life time master version. Without expiration without subscription.
I saw that EcuVonix sells for € 1299, while kess clone costs € 1200

    thanks

Hi. Kess is a great tool. But only ori. Clones work 65% of the drivers do not do at all. I would take ori MagPro2. You can see Trasdata ori or Autotunera ori. They are in similar money. How you decide to buy. Add a little bit and get the master version. Because Sleve has encrypted files. You won't do anything yourself. You will be vendor dependent. Best regards

    thanks for your answers.
    I don't know Autotunera.
I don't like trasdata, because it reads non-standard size or cropped files. Also the price is higher.

Yes, I know that I can not make all the ecus in this world. But I don't have big claims.
I just want a reliable tool. What it says it can do that it works 100%.
Then I saw that magpro2 x17 can also read in bootmode as well as via OBD.

    yes, i just bought.
    MagPro2 X17 you can find from EcuVonix.com
Magicmotor sport Official Site only sells latest FLEX version.
While EcuVonix sells MagPro2 x17 version at a discounted price.
Great price, hard to find better at this price.

Paying 1200€ for a kess clone is plainly stupid. If you budget is in that region buy yourself a Scandmatic original and some modules for Bitbox/PCMflash/Alexflasher.

It is better to learn a single brand or family of ECU and get good at tuning them rather then "tune" everything with a kess clone and files from a random internet "fileservice"...
