Currently the database only contains Bosch ECU information of 27423 Bosch ECUs, but it will be updated...


For now you can use this ECU database for a quick reference and get information about the ECU number, ECU family, Manufacturer number, vehicle/car brand and model, product image, etc..


Just enter ECU/OE-number of the control unit. A Bosch ECU number usually starts with 026 or 028 and it's 10 characters long. Due to the variety, the manufacturer numbers (OE-numbers) are not always plausible (3 characters minimum).

IMPORTANT: No need to be registered! Just leave the email address "free.for.you@weboctopus.nl"


It is free and it stays free for ever.

For now it sounds basic, but there are planned future updates

• Compatibility Tool to find compatible ECU part numbers for ECU replacement / swap;
• Search by ECU family;
• Universal ECU database with more ECU/BCM/ECM brands/manufacturers, such as Magneti Marelli, Continental, Denso, Siemens etc.;
• More compatible vehicle information;
• Very ambitious dream but what about adding Original ECU files? -> this will take thousands of working hours.. But hey it is possible to make a start
