    This must work. Dont forget to cut pin 13 in ecu before power on car.

    It's a MEMS 1.9. The Code is stored in the 93C46 in the bottom left corner of the picture.

    Put the same dump in 93c46. Works for all MEMS ecus.

    thanks meaty i did swap the chip but that must be damaged or corrupt. now i can have another go.

    CAUTION:

    THREAD HIJACKER HAS BEEN HIJACKED

    In the dead met-rot thread, the circuit board got damaged, so soldered some THIN wires in place, did what the rapper 'Eminen' would do ('round the outside', 'round the outside' <of circuit board>) brought them to a piece of vero-board with a chip holder then stuck this with siliy-coon to the MCU processer and then skanked a chip off a H+P cat 1 car alarm.

    You still have the other ecu/chip to re-cycle and remember to cut pin 13 (THINK middle row at one end, dud)

    Whether it is possible to establish this dump on Rover 820SI.
