What if he erases it? Will he be able to write back?

How can an ECU be locked if crash data was written on there? Is it locked after writing the crash data?

Would turning command security to off enable read and write?

Maybe it has read/write protection on the MCU, not sure until i have one for repair myself to investigate.

But also could be a number of things, maybe pinout not 100% correct. Try read dump from ASTCAN i think it supports this MCU with ford just use similar part number

ASTCAN makes this unit through the OBD. So it is stated.

    Thank you for your reply.

Was just thinking out loud. I would investigate command security to off if possible. Maybe that might be the key.

I got update -from person who got it fixed.
Unit was taken to person with ASTCAN CPT tool
Tried read оn table as OBD true CAN comunication.
Unit was identified ,and error codes as You can see on picture.
But could not read data from module.
Flash was purchased from someone (that was incripted for AST) and programmed with AST tru CAN comunication.
    Programming took over 20 minutes.
After programming reconnect with ASTCAN -was no more crash only diff troble codes
    Module was installed on vehicle.
    As result light Off.
I am writing this on phone don't see how to add photo
So will post photo of (AST log) later
    Thanks

Maybe no other solution only buy new modul and learning via dialer or Ford online.
