VIN set's via EEPROM, it's simply)
But you need a right codding for you car if srs unit used from another car.
Please dear members push the button if my work was helpfull!

    KESS 3, IProg, X-Tool, CG-100, GCPT, etc.

Depends on a car. Ford can be done by CPT for example.

    Hi buddy
I have done this on modules with similar hardware but different memory files. The modules of hyundai, kia, suzuki, toyota etc are similar hardware wise but have different part numbers and versions and can be successfully swapped. Replace the d flash, p flash, d+p flash and boot files of the memory chip and the module can be used in other vehicle. I just did it 2 days back with modules of suzuki s cross 38910-64m10 and suzuki vitara brezza 38910-82p10.
    Thanks n stay safe mate

    Hi
Thanks just wondering how to change the vin number while keeping the file integrity. I know you can adapt it to some cars via obd port.
Would you mind giving an example of one where you change vin number in a dump and make it pass crc check.

    Hi
I think i got wrong. The example which i gave have spc560p50lc memory chips in both. When repairing the crash, the d flash needs to be repaired for this. But when i put the d flash and the p flash files from the donor into the receiver, it has laa the data from the old part number and the old vin number. The redundant data is all gone and has new required data in it. I will pm you the old crash files and the new files for both
    Thanks buddy
