Try with the menu of A8, probably the old one. The difference amoung these two are the EPROM content which should not affect to the programming.

With the xprog it came a adapter for for HC11A8/E1/E9/E20/EA9, could I use that for the KA4 ?
It has a 8Mhz crystal on it.
How do I check the quartz from PCB ?

    Regards

Added a pic of the PCB in question.

    I have the same.
HC11A8/E1/E9/E20/EA9 is the only QFP64 adapter for HC11.
I dont know if it works for KA4
